Retiring early from a career in telecommunications, Owner and Bakery Chef Cheryl Wittman knew she wanted to pursue a lifelong dream of making and selling cheesecakes.

Despite the looming Covid pandemic, she began doing just that.

Fast forward a very successful two years and Say Cheese…cake! is proud to anounce RVA’s first cheesecake cafe, Verseau Bistro.

Why “Verseau Bistro”?

Verseau is French for Aquarius, the Water Bearer and Owner Cheryl Wittman’s astrological sign. The water theme is also a nod to Cheryl’s Florida roots and love for the ocean. Cheryl chose the French version of Aquarius to help depict the European feel and style of Verseau Bistro.
